Allene (Peg) Dollins, 97, of Lancaster, formerly Danville Road in Lancaster, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at her residence with her faithful companion (Abby) by her side. Born Sunday, October 24, 1920 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Eugenia Bourne Ball. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Lancaster Baptist Church. She is survived by two nephews; Joe (Mary June) Ball, and John (Robin) Ball, two nieces; Jeannie (Wayne) Hale and Susie (Walt) Browning. A sister in law; Ann Ball of Lancaster, four great nieces; Lindsay (Aaron) Ames, Betsy (Nathan) Carrier, Whitney (Tyler) Prewitt, and Sarah (Adam) Brown, 2 great nephews; Brad Browning and Russell Ball. She is preceded in death by her husband Rondal Dollins; two brothers, Louis Ball and Russell Ball; and one sister in law, Betty Ball. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Lancaster Cemetery with the burial to follow. The service will be officiated by Brother Harold Best.
