Obituary

Allie Gay Riddell Johnson, 91, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Landmark of Lancaster. Born Sunday, January 01, 1929 in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Harry Allen & Willena Green Riddell. Allie was a nurses aide at Garrard County Hospital and a member of Lancaster Church of Nazarene, she enjoyed crocheting, cooking and crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Johnson, brothers; Billy Riddell, Allen Riddell, Charlie Riddell, sister; Annell Beasley. Survivors include son; Carl (Lori) Johnson of Lancaster, daughters; Penny (Curtis) Williams of Lancaster, Elizabeth (Sammy) Letcher of Richmond, Yvonne (Ronnie) Jenson of Lancaster, Deborah (Frederick) Hale of Lancaster, Linda (Phillip) Adams of Lancaster, Betty (Carl) Shearer of Lancaster, sisters; Juanita Hoover of Waco, Shirley Wells of Richmond, fourteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and eighteen great great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, in order to comply with the recent concerns and regulations put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a memorial service for the public will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions go to the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene. The family wishes to thank Landmark of Lancaster & Heritage Hospice for their care of Allie.
