Annis West Whitlock, age 66, of Richmond Rd. Loop 2 in Lancaster, passed away Friday, August 1, 2014 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born February 5, 1948 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Mack & Beadie Hunter West. She was an Audit Clerk at American Greetings where she worked for 42 years, and a life long member of Fairview Christian Church, serving as church pianist and music director. She was also a member of Eastern Star Henry Clay Chapter 398. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her half-brother, Lawrence Morgan. Her survivors include her husband, Ernie Whitlock of Lancaster, a daughter , Melissa Whitlock (Jason) Gastineau of Lancaster, a granddaughter, Haley Gastineau of Lancaster, a sister, Mavis West Burton of Lexington, nieces; Bethany (Russ) Taylor, Mona Lamb, a nephew; Brian (Sandy) Burton, as well as several cousins and great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 4, 2014 at Fairview Christian Church by Revs. Geran Dodson, Bill Morrow, and Geno Washington. Burial will follow in Paint Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darrel Lamb, Daniel Lamb, Doug King, Gary Hatfield, Roger Henderson, and Mark Amstutz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Hunter, Jason Gastineau, Marlin Anness, and Jess Goins. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 PM Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home , and from Noon until service time Monday at the Church.
