Barbara Ann Hopkins Hatfield, 74, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Landmark of Danville. Born November 21, 1946 in Cartersville, Barbara was a daughter of the late Raymond & Fannie Brock Hopkins. She was a retired housekeeper for the Garrard County Hospital until she was injured in an automobile accident in 1988. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Hatfield and Elmer Bishop, brothers; Ernest, Johnny and Raymond Hopkins, Jr., sisters; Phyllis Jean Hopkins, Sue Hornsby & Doris Hornsby. Barbara is survived by a son; Wendell (Karen) Hatfield, of Lancaster, a daughter; Sherry (Mac) Carter, of Danville, two step-sons; Bryan (Lois) Bishop, of Lancaster and Scott ( Lesa) Bishop, of Lexington, two brothers; Larry (Carolyn) Hopkins and Bradley (Kay) Hopkins, both of Lancaster, three grandchildren; Ben (Crystal) Carter, Kaylee (Alex) Wall, Erin Bishop, great grandchildren; Cadence Carter, Reese Etherington, Aunt; Loraine Masters and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services for Barbara will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Kevin Cummins and burial following in Lancaster Cemetery.
