Barbara E. Morris, 86 of Kuttawa, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at Riversbend Nursing Home. Born Friday, February 26, 1932 in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Harry Sr., & Anna Bowling Richardson. Barbara was a two-time National Champion, & an International Champion in competition archery. She was also a member at Memorial Baptist Church in Frankfort. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Richardson & a sister, Alberta Gannon. Survivors include her son, Harry (Eve) Morris, of Kuttawa, Kentucky; brother, Harry Richardson Jr., of Florida; sisters, Katherine Sowder, of Lancaster, Josephine Vance, of Ohio, & Shelby Silvers, of California; grandchildren, Stephanie (Ray) Lepone, Barbara (Norman) Morris, Jason (Devon) Morris; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Mary Frances, Mae, Spencer, Norah, Addyson, & Olivia Cate. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery.
