Bernice Combs Sebastian, 88, formerly of High Street in Stanford, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Christian Care Center. Born October 3, 1926 in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Ed & Grace House Combs. She had been a homemaker and a member of Drakes Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bluford Sebastian, a daughter, Pamela Sue Sebastian and two brothers, Clyde and Ernest Combs. Her survivors include a daughter, Joyce (Frankie) Thompson of Stanford, 3 grandchildren, Brian, Belinda & Barry Thompson and brother, Earl Combs of Lancaster. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday , October 16, 2014 at Lancaster Cemetery by Rev. David Gambrel. There will be no visitation.
