Betsy B. Bailey, age, 96, of Danville Road in Lancaster, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Charleston Health Care Center. Born Tuesday, September 14, 1920 in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas & Florine Harrison Ballard. She had been a homemaker and member of Lancaster Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Bailey, three brothers & two sisters. Her survivors include four sons: Oscar Lee Bailey of Richmond; Donald Wayne (Jeannie) Bailey of Lancaster; Jack Cox Bailey II of Louisville, Bruce Allen (Linda) Bailey of Stanford; three grandchildren: Tiffany Bailey Wilson (Rob); Michael Ryan (Kayla) Bailey; Sara Don Bailey; three grandchildren: Jude Wilson, Beck Wilson & Kaden Noakes, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Lancaster Christian Church with burial following in the Lancaster Cemetery.
