Betsy Kinnard (Denny) Tipton has been joyously welcomed into the heavenly kingdom with open arms by her creator, savior, and loved ones.  Betsy peacefully passed on September 8, 2024 encompassed in the love of her earthly family and friends.  Betsy's ascension precedes her daughter Sandra (the late Joe) Duff, grandchildren, Justin (Jenna) Judy, Destini (Matt) Elkins, Joey Duff, Jessica (Alex) Johnson, Amanda Duff, great-grandchildren; Georgia, Jackson, Arizona, Willie, Luke, Caleb, Adrianne, Aaliyah, and Amirah, along with an innumerable family of both kin and friend.  Awaiting Betsy in jubilant reunion were her daughters Vicki (Judy) and Tamara (Land), joined by a heavenly host of radiant familiar faces. Betsy was a retired GE employee, and a former restaurant manager at Freddie's Italian Restaurant. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling, and attended Southland Christian Church. In her more recent years, spending quality time with her family was most important, and what she loved the most.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Justin Judy, Joey Duff, Jackson Judy, Alex Johnson, Matt Elkins, and Willie Judy. Honorary pallbearers include her siblings, Joe Denny, Russell Denny, Lewis Denny, Jimmy Denny, Judy Jeffries, Loretta Edwards, and Elizabeth Smith. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions go to Heritage Hospice and/or  the "I Have Wings" — Breast Cancer Foundation (www.ihavewings.org).
