Betty S. Araiza, 52, of Lancaster, wife of Roy E. Araiza, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Wednesday, November 30, 1966 in Monroe, Michigan, she was the daughter of Betty Burnette & the late Richard Johnson. Betty was an employee of Nathaniel House Inc., where she enjoyed her job as a caretaker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Johnson. Survivors other than her husband Roy include sons, Thomas (Tyler Holbrook) Araiza, Roy II "P-Nut" (Rachel) Araiza & Anthony (Brooke) Araiza, all of Lancaster; brothers, Christopher & James Johnson, of Lancaster; Lines (Heather) Johnson, of Mississippi & a sister-in-law, Isabel (the late Dennis) Reilly, of Lancaster. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Pastor Jenah Rader officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until service time on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the funeral home. Betty's wishes for cremation will be honored after services.
