Betty Jo Huffman, 87, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Lexington. Born October 17, 1934 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clyde & Eva Lee Preston. Betty Jo was a retired nurse from the Garrard County Memorial Hospital and a longtime member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe D. Huffman.

She is survived by her three sons, Terry ( Gayle) Huffman,  and Scotty Huffman, both of Lancaster, Tony (Laura) Huffman of Nicholasville, 7 grandchildren, Chasity Phillips, Tera Clemmons, Heather Shuerman, Tabitha Humphrey, Erica Huffman, Heidi Huffman, and  Kevin Smith, as well as 19 great and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Rick Stump. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony, Terry & Scotty Huffman, Kevin Smith, Billy Phillips & Jalen Clemmons.
