Betty Lear, 76, of Lexington, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, December 4th,2018 at Baptist Health. Born Saturday, June 1st ,1942, she was a daughter of the late Carl Dunn and Ireaker Beasley Dunn. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three sons; Anthony Lear, James Cecil Lear, and Bobby Douglas Lear. Survivors include her husband, James Lear of Lexington; three brothers; Carl (Mildred) Dunn Jr. and Michael (Carolyn) Dunn both of Lexington, as well as, Paul Dunn of Lancaster; three sisters, Patricia Dunn Taylor and Elizabeth Berrios both of Lexington, as well as, Cynthia (Rodney) Penman of Lancaster, an aunt; Lucille Beasley of Cleveland, Ohio; two special friends; Laura White of Nicholasville and Rose Ison of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with the funeral to follow on Tuesday, December 11th,2018 at Ramsey Young Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Glasper, Rev. Ronald Roberts, Bishop Jerome Norwood, and Co-Pastor Virginia Glasper officiating. After services, Betty's wishes for cremation will be honored.
