Billy Kinnard Carrier, 71, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his home. Born Sunday, March 12, 1950 in Danville, Billy was a son of the late Billy & Coleen Adkinson Carrier. Billy was a truck driver for McLane for thirty-six years and was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; Woodie Carrier.

Billy is survived by his wife; Rita Sherrow Carrier, of Lancaster, sons; Kevin Bradley (Nikki) Carrier, of Crab Orchard, Brandon Michael (Kelly) Cooper, of Lancaster, daughter; Jennifer Kristen (Mike) Taliaferro, of Venice, Florida, brothers; Jerry (Debbie) Carrier, of Lancaster, Curt (Jeanne) Carrier, of Lancaster, Aunt & uncle; Dwight (Jane) May, of Lancaster, grandchildren; Aiden Carrier, Braxton Carrier, Austin Cooper & Ethan Cooper.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, March 22, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Matt Cooke. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM  Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the funeral home. Pallbearers include, John Elleman, Danny Irvin, Bruce Lewis, Bob Henson, Alan Montgomery & Johnny Snyder. Honorary pallbearers include, Nathan Carrier, Matt Carrier, Adam Carrier, Austin Cooper, Ethan Cooper, Aiden Carrier, Braxton Carrier, Brandy Carrier Adams & Sara Horn. In accordance with state mandates, facial coverings and proper social distancing are required to attend services.
