Bobby Gene King, 82, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at his home. Born Tuesday, June 22, 1937, in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Nathan & Marie Bolton King. Bobby was a former heavy equipment operator, a member of Bethel Christian Church & was in the International Union of Operating Engineers. Survivors include his wife, Edwina Anderson King; daughters, Peggy (Ronnie) Sparks, of Paint Lick, Donna (Dale) Land, of Stanford; brothers, Billy Wayne (Janet) King, of Lancaster, Harold Douglas (Lonnie) King, of Bryantsville; two grandchildren, Kristina Land & Josh (Danna) Sparks, both of Lancaster & special friends, Lavonda Johnson & Vivian Goins, both of Lancaster. Private funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Spry officiating & burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Josh Sparks, Billy Joe Osborne, Ronnie Sparks, Dale Land, Lavonda Johnson & Vivian Goins.
