Bonnie Jean Woods, 79 of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, May 06, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones. Born Friday, April 07, 1939 in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Jason & Ruby Reed Lane. Bonnie was a former factory worker at Greenleaf, & also enjoyed working as a caregiver. She loved going to church, & was a member at Lancaster Full Gospel Outreach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas E. Woods; son, Freddie Woods; daughter, Debbie Jean (the late James) Goins; brothers, Vernon Lane, Wilburn Lane, Dale Lane, & a sister, Nan Woods. Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Gale Woods, Vickie Ann Plunkett, & Linda Kay (Steve) Tipton, all of Lancaster; brother, Elwood Lane, of Lancaster; sisters, Ina Crank, Lyda Maupin, & JoAnn Prewitt, all of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Stuart (Regina) Goins, Troy (Scott Brewer) Henry, Dustin (the late Wendy) Doyle, Brandon (Tasha) Woods, Nathan Rankin, Lindsey Aldridge, & eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Bro. Allen Sparks officiating, & burial following at Woods Family Cemetery.
