Brenda Joyce Carpenter,  69 , of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021  in Danville. Born November 21, 1951 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Edward & Helen Shearer Goins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; William C. Carpenter, a daughter; Lisa Michelle Carpenter, and three brothers;  Gene, Bobby & Larry Goins. Brenda attended the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by a son; Billy (Tiffany) Carpenter of Lancaster, a daughter; Angela  (Scott) Cash of Lancaster; a sister; Donna (the late Ricky) Burkhart of Lancaster; a granddaughter; Ashley (Charles) Pittman and two great grandchildren, Liam & Connor Pittman.

Funeral services for Brenda will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Darrell Estes with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5—8 PM Monday, March 22, 2021 at the funeral home. In accordance with state mandates,  facial coverings are required at all times to attend services.
