Carl W. Browning, 92, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at his residence. Born April 30, 1924 in Casey County, he was the son of the late William Kelly & Lula Underwood Browning. Carl had been a farmer and carpenter most of his life, a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of Rosedale Baptist Church in Richmond. His survivors include his wife, Evelyn Maupin Browning, a son, Danny ( Sandy) Browning of Nicholasville, two daughters, Judy Ray & Carla (John) Von Behren, both of Lexington a sister, Myrthe Naylor of Lexington, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 13, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Jerry Browning. Burial with military rites by the Caswell Saufley Post #18 will take place in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
