Charlotte Louise Feldman, 76, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on February 11, 1950, in Stanford, Kentucky, Charlotte lived a life defined by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to those around her.
Family was the cornerstone of Charlotte's life. She is survived by her siblings David (Cindy) Feldman, Harold Feldman, Diana Feldman-Smith, Angela Feldman-Harkins, and Alvin Feldman. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who cherished her deeply.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents Isidor and Barbara Feldman; her sister Bessie Stamper; and her brother Robert Feldman.
Charlotte devoted 27 years of her career to education as a special education teacher at Lancaster Elementary School and Garrard County Middle School. Her patience and compassion left an indelible mark on countless students and families. She was deeply committed to her work, ensuring that every child she taught felt valued and supported.
Charlotte found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved walking outdoors and had a passion for searching for antiques—treasures that reflected her appreciation for history and beauty. Her love for Christmas was legendary among those who knew her; she celebrated the season with childlike wonder and a giving heart that brought joy to everyone around her.
Above all else, Charlotte will be remembered as a woman who loved deeply and wholeheartedly. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family—especially her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews—whom she adored beyond measure. She had a unique ability to make everyone she met feel cared for and valued.
Charlotte's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, 315 Richmond Street, Lancaster, KY 40444.
Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 224 Lexington Street, Lancaster, Kentucky 40444. Burial will immediately follow at Lancaster Cemetery, 205 Crab Orchard Street, Lancaster, Kentucky, 40444.
