Christine Ellen Lee Ray, 87, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Garrard County. Born on Thursday, August 23, 1934 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert & Helen Buchanan Lee. Christine was a former employee for American Greetings, a member of Naples First Baptist Church, loved to cook and enjoyed hosting friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray, and her son, Leonard Dale Richardson.

Survivors include daughters, Sandy Richardson Arnold, & Angela (Wayne) Long, both of Lancaster; brothers, Gilbert Charles Lee, of Danville, & Wayne Lee, of Tennessee; sister, Doris (Gil) Crouch, of Stanford; grandchildren, Brian Bolton, Adam Bolton, Chastity Scott, & Dawn Scott; six great-grandchildren, & three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 15, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Brad King officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chase Scott, Josh Scott, Jordan Scott, Hunter Hollingsworth, Joseph Carson & Phillip Bentley. Honorary pallbearers include Betty & Buddy Arnold. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
