Christine Sebastian, 88, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Christian Care Center. Born Sunday, May 15, 1927 in Paint Lick, she was a daughter of the late William Kelly & Lula Margaret Underwood Browning. She was a former employee of Cowden Manufacturing, American Greetings and the Garrard County Library. She was also a member of Bethel Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James Stanley Sebastian, brothers; Frank & John Browning and sister; Birtie Jane Duerson. Survivors include sons; Richard Sebastian & Bruce (Janice Hall) Sebastian, both of Lancaster, daughter; Jean Powers, of Lexington, brother; Carl Browning, of Richmond, sister; Mirtie Naylor, of Lexington, grandchildren; Vanessa (Mark) Henson, Jeremy (Amanda) Sebastian, Justin Sebastian, Jennifer Sebastian, great-grandchildren; Lauren Buchanan, Bryson Sebastian, Shay Sebastian, Jarrod Poynter and Darius Sebastian. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday, September 21, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Browning & Bro. Dale Ballinger officiating, with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Sebastian, Justin Sebastian, Jarrod Poynter, Mark Naylor, Doug Duerson, Danny Browning, Mark Henson & Ernie Swinford. Honorary pallbearers include Dee Hatfield, Joan Tussey, Reba Cotton, Lettie Sebastian, Susan Swinford, Beth Woods & Debbie Swinford.
