Cloyd Elam Naylor, 73, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center. Born June 17, 1943 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse A. & Delia McQuerry Elam. Cloyd was a retired employee of KSD where she had worked as a clerical worker and a caretaker. She was also a member of Lancaster Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville C. Naylor, a son, William Scott Miller, one brother, Jesse Walter Elam, and three sisters, Gladys Eloise Bourne, Helen D. Starnes & Barbara Lois Starnes. Her survivors include two daughters, Carla (Harold "Moe" ) Mullins of Danville, Donna Hammons of Knoxville, TN, two brothers, Donald Wayne (Laura) Elam of Stanford, William K. (Connie) Elam of Hustonville, one sister, Lucy Belle Rose of Nashville, TN, 5 grandchildren, Cassie (Scotty) Lee, Rebecca "Boo" Meeks, Raeann (Jeremy) Grubbs, Katelyn Hammons & Deliah Faith Miller, 3 great grandchildren, Tylor Scott Lee, Trista Ann Lee , Lily Belle Meeks , as well as two grandpups, Pugsy & Mugsy Mullins. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Dr. Harold Best with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Dailey, Dwayne Elam, Scotty Lee, Jeremy Grubbs, Tylor Lee & Jimmy Wayne Arnold, with Marie Black & Dan Waters serving as honorary bearers. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Friday until service time at the funeral home.
