Obituary

Connie Gordon, 67, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born Saturday, August 6, 1955 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late J.T. & Betty Hughes Hafley. Connie was a nurse for the Thompson Hood Veteran's Center & enjoyed cooking and gardening. She also took pride in  volunteering for the Garrard County Animal Shelter. Connie was a devout  Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Grant Gordon, and her son, Chuck Grant Gordon.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Howard) Goldberg, of Morehead; brother, Tommy ( Deanna) Hafley, of Lancaster; step-daughters, Gail Gordon, of Danville, Sharon Gordon, of Junction City; sister, Linda Grubbs, of Lancaster; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren & a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 2, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Browning & Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating with burial following at Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers include Hayden Goldberg, Howard Goldberg, Ryland Messer, Dalton Allen, Jackson Allen & Ricky Allen. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until service time Friday, December 2, 2022 at the funeral home.
