Corine Naylor Watkins, 88, of Lexington Road in Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. Born March 12, 1928 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Elmo & Jessie Kent Naylor. She was a retired Whirlpool employee and had also worked at Mercer Dress and Cowden Manufacturing . She was a member of Lancaster Christian Church and was an avid seamstress & upholsterer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James I. Watkins and a brother, Orville C. Naylor. Her survivors include a daughter, Dianna Lynn (Jim) Taylor, her caregiver, Cora "Tootsie" Grant, and a special friend, Ruth Tracy, all of Lancaster. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 28, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Daryl Hodge, with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, David Simpson, Steve Simpson, Michael Watkins, Barry Davis, Eddie Tudor & Christopher Steffen. Honorary bearers will be Ronnie Broadus, Doug Davis, David Middleton, Ronald David Middleton, Brian Durham, Mildred Broadus, Ruth Tracy, Cora "Tootsie" Grant, Joe Naylor & Tim Taylor.
