Darrell E. Barrett, 60, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 in Danville. Born October 1, 1957 in Garrard County, he was a son of Edward Barrett & Louise Saylor Barrett, both of Lancaster. Darrell was a salesman for Barrett Furniture Company and attended the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael. Surviving other than his parents are three children , Tanner Barrett of Lancaster, Spencer Barrett of Lexington and Olivia (Jarrod) Stafford of Danville, a sister, Debra (Willie ) Hoskins of Lancaster, four grandchildren, Conner & Savannah Stafford , Ava & Arianna Barrett, three nephews Alex Barrett, Jeff & Josh Hoskins, and his beloved dog , Lady. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Leon Thomas with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Cain, Greg Goins, Alex Barrett, Josh Hoskins, Willie Hoskins & Mark Metcalf. Honorary bearers will be Vivian Roark, Anna Murphy, Mary Jane Stempfly, Virginia Thomas, Brittany Thomas & Jeff Hoskins. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, December 27th at the funeral home.
