James R. "Dick" Brunson, 73, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Danville. Born October 3, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska, Dick was a son of the late James Richard & Lois Belle Breese Brunson. He was a Vietnam veteran of the US Army with the rank of Sgt. and was the owner and C.E.O. of Pneu-draulics, Inc. in Nicholasville. Dick's survivors include his wife, Hallie Mann Brunson, a son, Patrick (Lisa) Brunson of Albuquerque, NM., two daughters, Kelly (Steve) Kanotz of College Grove, Tn. And Katie Brunson of Lexington, a step-son, Kevin Greer of New Mexico, step-daughter, Janel (Matt) Sandlin of Nicholasville and three brothers, Donald, Jeffrey & Raymond. He was also a dear "Rotten Pa" to 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dick's wishes for cremation were honored and a private service will take place at a later date.
