Dillard Lee Broughton, 57, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Fort Logan Medical Center. Born Saturday, November 18, 1961 in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Dillard & Thelma Lamb Broughton. Dillard enjoyed working on his truck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved partner; Shirley Johnson, great-great; nephew Jaxon Cole Jones, nephew; David Broughton. Survivors include son; Cody Lee Broughton of Berea & Matthew Bond, of Mt. Vernon, daughter; Melissa Smith-Bacon, brother; Carlos "Butch" Broughton, of Lancaster, sisters; Frances Hinds, of Lancaster, Freda (Sonny) McGuffey, of Stanford, grandchildren; Rebekah Newcomb, Kaleb Bacon & several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Bro. Darrell Estes officiating with burial following at Jordan Cemetery . Pallbearers include Cody Broughton, Brandon Broughton, Ronald Goens, Mark Goens, Matthew Bond & Jason Rogers.
