Donnie Woods, 62, passed away on October 30, 2023 in Lexington. Born to the late Donald Carl & Elizabeth Lane Woods on February 9, 1961 in Harrodsburg. Donnie was an avid outdoorsman and known to be an extremely hard working lineman.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Woods, of Lancaster; a son, Zachary Woods, of Bryantsville; a daughter, Nikki Woods, of Lancaster; a brother, Timmy Woods, of Bryantsville; sisters, Judy Culver, of Nicholasville and Teri Weber, of Bryantsville; and grandsons, Tyler Woods, of Bryantsville, and Kaison Woods, of Lancaster.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2023, with Richard Stipe & George Johns, Sr. officiating and burial following at the Woods Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Zach Woods, Tyler Woods, Brandon Woods, Wes Brown, Timmy Woods, and Mark Perkins. Honorary pallbearers include Jeramiah Keller, Lee Estepp, Rodney Estepp, and DJ Lirette.
