Doris Mae Glover Callahan, 85 of Somerset, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Stanford at the Golden Living Center. Born December 28, 1932 in Pulaski County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond & Louella Harris Hunt. Doris was a retired seamstress from Cowden Manufacturing where she had worked for 33 years, & was a member of Lancaster Tabernacle Baptist Church. She enjoyed her spare time crocheting & quilting. She was preceded in death by a husband, Harold Glover. Her survivors include her husband, James Callahan of Somerset; two sons, Wendell Glover of St. Petersburg, Florida, & Michael Glover of Sarasota, Florida; granddaughter, Rebecca Michelle Perkins; brother, Vearl Hunt of Somerset, & a sister, Ruth Modina Weston of Indianapolis, Indiana. Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Revs. Jason Wheeler, & Larry Moore officiating, with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 16, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to the Alzheimer's Association.
