Dorothy Ann Matthews,84, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at her residence. Born January 3, 1932 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Allen & Lealer Murphy Matthews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Leonard & James Allen Matthews and six sisters; Alice Carol Matthews, Frances Davis, Ruby Grant, Iona Votaw, Betty Davis & Virginia Pearl Denney. She is survived by a brother; Donald Matthews of Lancaster and two sisters; Joetta Collier of Lancaster and Mary Medley of Harrodsburg. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 26, 2016 at Lancaster Cemetery. Ramsey-Young Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
