Elizabeth Carrier Hensley Curtsinger, 98, formerly of Danville, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at The Willow's of Harrodsburg. Born Sunday, October 28, 1923 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Smith & Rosa Benedict Carrier. Elizabeth was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, and was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Hensley, as well as her second late husband, Raymond Curtsinger; son, Raymond Curtsinger, Jr.; step-son, Joe Curtsinger; brothers, Walter, Bob & Ronald Carrier; sisters, Helen Hall, Mary Allen, Opal Burgsteiner, as well as four grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Lester (Frances) Hensley, of Paint Lick; daughters, Mary Jane (Donald) Cox, of Lawrenceburg, Betty (Larry) Alexander, of Madisonville, Judy Zibell (Don) Colliver, of Versailles; daughter-in-law, Pat Curtsinger, of Lincoln County; step-daughters, Almeda Curtsinger, & Mattie Weldon, both of Danville, Peggy Douglas, of Bloomington, Illinois; brother, Donald Carrier, of Shepherdsville; sisters, Delia Welch & Jean (Sam) McCoy, both of Louisville; 23 grandchildren, & numerous great & great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 23, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Elizabeth's grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions go to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
