Esther Lou Lamb-Rains, 74, of Danville, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 17,2018 at her residence. Born Wednesday, August 30, 1944 she was a daughter of the late Grover Lamb and Alma Grimes Lamb. She received her bachelors in engineering and drafting and was a supervisor for A.G.H. Industries for several years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 18 years J.B. "Butch" Rains Jr. as well as seven siblings. Survivors include two sons; James Logan "J.T" Poynter of Lancaster and Joshua David Grubbs of Lexington, a daughter; Sheila Darlene (Scott) Broughton of Danville, one brother; Douglas Lamb of Rossville, Georgia, two special significant others; Joe Coker and Rascal, as well as six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be held 5:00 PM, Friday, December 21,2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM. Rev. Marcus Daly will be officiating.
