Florence "Sissie" McCane, 91, of Lancaster, passed away December 25, 2020 in Marion County at the Village of Lebanon Center. Born April 9, 1929 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence & Jean Thompson Naylor. She had been a longtime employee at Cowden's Manufacturing and was a member of the Forks of Dix River Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James Harvey McCane, son; Danny McCane, two brothers, George Naylor, J.K. Naylor, five sisters; Lula Montgomery, Marie Merchant, Irene Durham, Gladys Durham, Mary Francis Irvin. Her survivors include a sister, Wilma Wagner of Washington state and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place from 11:00 AM-12:30 Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home followed by a burial at 1:00 PM in Danville Memorial Gardens. In accordance with state mandates, facial coverings and proper social distancing practices are required to attend the visitation.
