Frances Elveree Wilson, 90, of Lancaster, passed away at her home on Danville Street, Sunday, March 15, 2015. Born August 19, 1924, in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late William A. & Eula Brown Cotton. She was a member of the Lancaster Methodist Church, enjoyed crocheting, reading & golfing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert M.Wilson, a sister; Catherine Craft & five brothers; Charlie, Robert, John, Handy, & Acey Cotton. Survivors include two sons; Gilbert Donald Wilson of Orlando, Florida, David Wilson of Lancaster, a daughter; Dr. Diane Wilson of Lexington, a grand-child; Logan Scott Wilson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM Graveside at Lancaster Cemetery with Rev. Bob Coppings Officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may go to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
