Franklin Kinnaird, 92, of Hamilton Valley Rd., passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Berea, Kentucky. Born Friday, February 08, 1924 in Garrard County, he was a son of the late John C. & Nannie Rothell Kinnaird. He was a farmer, loved fishing, & was a member of Harmons Lick Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son; Dallas Kinnaird, brothers; Ernest, Carl, & J.C. Kinnaird, sisters; Lucille Sparks, Flossie Jennings, & Christine Patterson. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sparks Kinnaird. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Willard officiating and burial following at Paint Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Franklin Eugene Kinnaird, Kenny Kinnaird, Phillip Kinnaird, Jimmy McQueen, Jamie McQueen, & Joe Mast. Honorary pallbearers include Jerry Sparks, Larry Sparks, Wesley Simpson, Cecil Sparks, Wanda Helton, Roger Ayres, Carl Edgar Jennings , Sherman Sparks & Mary Mast. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time Saturday, January 14, 2017. In lieu of flowers , contributions may go to the Harmon's Lick Church of God.
