Fred Lee Votaw, 86, of Harrodsburg passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Harrodsburg Heath and Rehabilitation. Born Friday, July 21, 1933 in Lancaster, he was a son of late Edna Riley Votaw & Coleman Votaw. Fred was a United States Army Veteran and factory worker. Fred enjoyed playing golf and pool. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil Votaw, Billy Wayne Votaw, Jimmy Votaw and two sisters Ruby Gerlach, Laverne Votaw. His survivors include sons, Michael (Judy) Votaw of Danville, Clinton (Melanie) Votaw of Harrodsburg, daughters, Kathie (Keith) Brim of Senatobia Mississippi, Kristina Votaw of Anchorage Alaska, and one brother John C. Votaw as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Ramsey - Young Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 - 1:00pm August 17, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial with military rites by the Caswell Saufley Post # 18 will take place in Lancaster Cemetery.
