Gary Gaffney, 63, of Crab Orchard, husband of Vickie Sebastian Gaffney, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at UK Medical Center. Born Thursday, December 08, 1955 in Garrard County, he was a son of Arthur Jr. "June" Gaffney & Janie McQuerry Gaffney, of Garrard County. Gary was a farmer & a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a wife, Ginger Potter Gaffney. Survivors other than his wife, Vickie & parents, include two sons, Josh (Kathey) Gaffney & Ben (Louanne) Gaffney; daughter, Sara (Gary) Coffman; brother, Robert (Mary) Gaffney, all of Garrard County; five grandchildren, Zeke & Duke Gaffney, Kaitlyn Coffman & Alexa & Molly Smith. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bros. Jimmy Closterman & Johnny Baker officiating with burial following at Paint Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers include Gary Grimes, Larry Strickland, Eddie Carter, Jerome Isaacs, Johnny Day, Charles Starnes & Terry Gregory. Honorary pallbearers include Billy Joe Arnold, Mike Hicks & the remaining members of the Men's Sunday School Class at Good Hope Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
