. Gloria Gean Buckner, 72, of Richmond Road Loop 2 in Lancaster, passed away Saturday, May 23rd, 2015 at her residence. Born February 15, 1943, she was a daughter of the late John & Thelma Colicott Thompson. Gean was a homemaker , and attended Assembly of God Church. Her survivors include her loving husband, Roger L Buckner, two sons, Michael (Karen) Brown of Huntsville, Alabama, Barry (Christine) Brown of Lamars, Iowa, two daughters, Rhonda Brown of Lancaster and Vickie (Krys) Moore of Stanford, two step sons, Stony Buckner and Stephen (Nicole) Buckner of Crossville, Tn. , two step daughters, Elizabeth (Justin) Manning of Crossville, Tn., and Chessey Hines of Lancaster, a sister, Diana (Mike) McGhghy, 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Tim Hall, with burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael & Barry Brown, Carl Wickline, Justin & Krys Moore & Stony Buckner. Visitation will be 5-8 Tuesday at the funeral home. Ramsey-Young Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
