Geneva Gill Hall, 92, formerly of Buckeye Rd. in Garrard County, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Born Thursday, April 15, 1926 in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Hyatt & Sarah Davis Gill. Geneva was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, enjoyed cooking & canning, & was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hall; children, Billy Hall Wayne Hall, Bannard Hall, Dean Hall, Janice Hall, & Anna Shearer; brothers, Fred & Stanley Gill; sisters, Dorothy Abee & Beatrice Floyd. Survivors include grandchildren, Jimmy (Christy) Hall, Frankie (Kendra) Hall, Jason (Emily) Hall, & Deneva Shearer, all of Lancaster, & Deana (Blake) Childress, of Rockcastle County, sixteen great-grandchildren, & one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 29, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Revs. Dallas Murphy & James Hardin officiating, with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery.
