Gladys Pingleton Dailey, 84, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at The Willows of Harrodsburg. Born December 16, 1933 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Jack & Opal Kidwell Pingleton. She was a homemaker, and a member of Gilbert's Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Allen Dailey and a grandson, Sean Dailey. Gladys leaves behind her husband , George Dailey; one son, Paul (Susan) Dailey of Albany; daughter, Georgia (Rick) Long of Danville; brothers, Bob (Betty) Pingleton of Burgin, and Wayne (Sue) Pingleton of Sellersburg, Indiana; five sisters, Jean King, Alice Ray, Lois (Roger) Duncan and Freda Palmer, all of Lancaster, and Debbie (Fred) Sparks of Lincoln County. She is also survived by five grandchildren, John Morgan Dailey, Jeremy (Laura) Johnson, and Shannon Johnson, Erin & Beth Hewett; great-grandchildren, Dawson Dailey, Mackenzie Settles, Seanna Settles & Cameron Settles. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Dr. Harold Best with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery.
