Gladys M. Lamb, 86, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, May 06, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born on Sunday, June 10, 1934 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Stanley & Mary Merchant Duggins. Gladys worked as a caregiver, and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was part of the Stanford Senior Citizens Club, enjoyed working puzzles, & loved to read. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Lamb, and two brothers, Joe & Silas Duggins.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie (Pat) Lamb, of Moreland, daughters; Sherry (Dale) Taylor, of Harrodsburg, & Lois Ray, of Lancaster, grandchildren; Jason (Kristie) Lamb, Justin (Morgan) Lamb, Desi Lamb, Aiden Lamb, Spencer (Cassidy) Taylor, Casey (Carolee) Taylor, Charlie (Melanie) Ray, Gennie Ray, & Daniel (Gretchen) Ray, 22 great-grandchildren, & 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Gladys will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Padgett & Rev. Jeremy Pope officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jason Lamb, Justin Lamb, Spencer Taylor, Casey Taylor, Charlie Ray, Daniel Ray, & Gennie Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Gladys' Sunday School class, Gary & Connie Padgett, & Deanna Padgett. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
