Hallie B. Grow, 101, of Sugar Creek Road, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Christian Care Center in Lancaster. Born July 27, 1913 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Isaac Butler & Linnie Preston Duncan. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Lee Grow, a daughter, Nila Ruth Arnold, two brothers, Paul & Lloyd Duncan, and a great grandchild. Survivors include a son, Robert Butler "Butch" Grow of Lancaster, a daughter, Wilma Miller of Dale, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home by Revs. David Shoot & Odis Clark, with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Lee Sparks, Jesse Goens, Brian Naylor, Mike Preston, Ricky Edgington & Bob Novak. Honorary bearers will be Carolyn Wellls, Caywood Metcalf, Nellie Cole, Ilene Reed, Dr. Steven Green, Norma Jean Grow Mike Withers, Rusty Bowles, Lonnie Murphy & staff at Christian Care Center.
