Helen Marie Goins Broaddus, 91, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at Landmark of Lancaster. Born Friday, March 29, 1929 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Willie & Louise Gaffney Goins. Helen was a former employee for Palm Beach and was a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 72 years Jeff "Buster" Broaddus, son; Bobby Broaddus, daughters; Linda Stone, Ellen Thompson. Her survivors include sons; Ralph (Johnetta) Broaddus, of Lancaster, Jeffery Broaddus, of Lancaster, daughter; Helen Bailey, of Lancaster, sister; Vivian Goins, of Lancaster, special friend; Patricia Moberly, as well as twelve grandchildren, twenty nine great- grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday, September 25, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Watts officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include; Jordan Logan, Cody Broaddus, Matthew Ray, Joshua Ray, Christofer Vest, Jacob Carman & Billy Broaddus. Honorary pallbearers include Ashley Lansaw, Rebecca Moore & the nursing staff at Landmark of Lancaster. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, September, 24, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
