Helen R Ward , 95, of Paint Lick passed away February 23, 2016 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Urett & Nell Chapman Richey, she was born October 27, 1920 in Ohio. Helen had been a resident of Paint Lick for over 60 years and a member of the Old Paint Lick Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughters, Carole Downes, Paint Lick and Sarah Chew (Tim), Jacksonville Beach Florida; three grandchildren Carole Lendry (Steven), Fernandina Beach, Florida, Ellen Downes (Glenn) of Ashburn, Virginia and Jon Long (Anna) of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ward, her son, Coby Ward, and her brother, McCall Richey. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at the Old Paint Lick Presbyterian Church by Revs. Bryce McGowan & Pamela Rucker. Burial will be in the Paint Lick Cemetery.
