Irene Napier, 70, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, October 01, 2016 at her home on Hill-N-Dale Drive. Born Monday, October 29, 1945 in Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late Walker & Gracie Barnes Swinney. She had been a member of Harmon's Lick Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Napier, brother; Gene Swinney, & sister; Sue Thompson. Survivors include sons; Joseph "Peanut" Napier, Bobby Napier, & Frankie Napier all of Richmond, daughters; Carolyn (Larry) Hopkins & Linda Napier, of Lancaster, Betty (Charles) Harrison of Berea, brother; Johnny Swinney of Crab Orchard, sisters; Oma Bee Cash & Dessie Oaks, both of Lincoln County, Maggie King of Boyle County, Judy Owens of Crab Orchard & Ruby Alexander of Broadhead. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Ramsey Cemetery in Garrard County. Pallbearers include Larry Hopkins, Charles Harrison, Bobby Harrison, Mickey Hopkins, Ryan Napier, & Walter Scruggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Alexander, & Joe Oaks.
