Lorraine Long, 82, of Lancaster passed away Thursday August 23,2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Saturday, February 03,1936, she was a daughter of the late Amon and Janie Cobb Hume. She was a factory worker at Genesco. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Long; daughter, Sandra McWhorter; 2 brothers, Gordon & Hurley Hume; sister, Margaret Young. Survivors include her son Mike Long; daughter, Jamie Allen, as well as three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, August 27,2018 at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Shelton, Rick Gosnell, Cameron Morgan, Ryan Feldman, Terry McWhorter, and David Hume.
