Obituary

James "Red" Hrapek, 49, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, January 03, 2020 at his residence. Born Monday, January 19, 1970 in Holyoke Massachusetts, he was the son of John Roger Hrapek & the late Winifred Jean Taft Hrapek. James worked as a meat cutter at Hubble Meat Market. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, singing and riding motorcycles. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Christian Church. In addition to his father survivors include his fiancé, Marlene (Marley) Prather, daughters; Miranda Kate (Devin Benge) Hrapek of Junction City, Madeline Grace Hrapek of Junction City, Abigail Joy Hrapek of Lancaster, son; Cody Bates of Harrodsburg, brother; John Hrapek of Stanford, aunt; Sharon Zeilman of Gainesville Florida. James's wishes for cremation rites will be held and no other services are scheduled at this time. Ramsey-Young Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
