James Boyd, Jr. 65, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 at his home. Jr. was born September 28, 1954 in Garrard County to the late James & Sally Johnson Boyd. He was a mechanic and a member of the Baptist faith.   He leaves behind five children, Carrie Jo Barnett Boyd, of Bryantsville, James Craig (Andrea) Boyd, of North Carolina, Tiffany Renee (Christopher) Jennings, of England, Ricky Boyd & Kevin Johnson, both of Lincoln County, siblings, David Boyd, of Lancaster, Robert (Glenda) Boyd, of Junction City, Regina (Jay) Iacono, of Harrodsburg, Donald Boyd, of Lancaster& his fiancé, Lisa Boyd, of Lancaster. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren.   Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Pastor Jackie Johnson. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening January 1, 2020 at the funeral home. Following services, his request for cremation rites to take place will be honored.
