James Ray Stinnett, 73, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Baptist Health in LaGrange, Ky. Born Thursday, September 22, 1949 to the late Edward & Anna Mae McDowell Stinnett in Jessamine County. James was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan and was apart of the C.C.C.C. Bingo Group. He also attended Cornerstone Assembly of God.

Aside from his parents, James is preceded in death by; a brother, Beeler Stinnett; and a sister, Connie Stinnett. Survivors include; a brother, Timmy (Debbie Hacck) Stinnett, of Versailles; sisters, Faye (Joey) Coblin, of Campbellsburg, Brenda (Bernard) Brooks, of Lancaster; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery and Rev. Dwayne Lobb officiating. Pallbearers include Bernard Brooks, Kevin Brooks, Scott Tingle, Tony Ballard, Jason Griffitts, and J.W. Coblin. Honorary pallbearers include Joey Coblin and Randy Preston. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
