Jeffrey A. May, 62 of Lancaster, passed away Monday June 24, 2019 at Baptist Health of Lexington. Born Friday, February 08, 1957 in Lancaster, he was a son of Virginia Watkins May, of Lancaster, & the late Billy Joe May. Jeff was a former employee at Matsushita for 26 years & was also a farmer. He was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church, the Central Kentucky Karaoke Club and the Franklin Lodge in Lancaster. He was also an avid UK fan. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tamara Yankee May & one brother, Stephen Coy May. In addition his mother, survivors include a daughter, Laura Branson, of Lancaster; fiancé, Maegan Castle, of Lancaster; brother, Eric (Stacy) May, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Landon & Adasyn Cornelius; nephews, Billy, Brett, Travis & Dwayne May, as well as eleven great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Rush officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Dwayne, Travis, Billy, Brett, Hunter & Caleb May. Honorary pallbearers will be the great nieces & nephews.
