Jerry Moberly, 74, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born Saturday, October 14, 1944 in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Owen & Anna Lee Fathergill Moberly. Jerry was a heavy equipment operator & enjoyed hunting & fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Shyrock Moberly & one brother, Wayne Moberly. Survivors include daughters, Tammy (Toby) Houp, Christie Taylor, all of Lancaster; brothers, David Moberly of Ohio, Harold (Sarah) Niekirk, of Lexington; brother-in-law, Jackie (Patricia) Shyrock, of Lancaster ; niece, Lisa (Smitty) Daniels, of Wilmore; sister-in-law, Regina (Mark) Kirby, of Nicholasville, five grandchildren & eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Bro. Mickey Stinnett officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until service time on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the funeral home.
