Jesse Dailey, 77, of Campbell Street, Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He was the son of the late Earl and Maude Davis Dailey and was born Saturday, July 3, 1937 in Garrard County. He was a Security Guard at National Casket in Lancaster, employee of Lancaster Police Department and Lancaster City Sanitation Department. He was a member of the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene and loved gardening. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Gene Dailey, Hugh Gibson Dailey and W.C. Dailey; sister, Bessie Dailey; and a daughter, Kathy Jo Dailey. Survivors include sons; Billy (Katherine) Dailey of Lancaster, KY, Brian (Tina) Dailey of Lancaster, KY; daughter, Tori Rigsby of Lancaster, KY; his former wife and caregiver, Brenda Johnson; sisters, Joyce (Louis) Grimes of Lancaster, KY, Genevieve (Edward) Lamb of Lancaster, KY, and Doris (Willie) Lamb of Lancaster, KY; two grandchildren, Liliana and Genesis Perez; three Step-grandchildren; nine Step-great-grandchildren and two Step-great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, July 21, 2014, at Ramsey Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Thomas and Rev. Daryl Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen Weston, Allen Stroud, Ron Godsey, Scottie Burnside, LeRoy Allen and Don Rinthen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronald Lamb, A.C. Huffman, Jimmy Lamb, Robbie Lamb, Darrell Lamb, Bobby Dailey and Mike Grimes. Visitation will be 5-9 PM, Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Ramsey Funeral Home.
